WildBrain launches the live-action teen drama Finding Her Edge in Canada.
The series is adapted from Jennifer Iacopelli’s bestselling novel and draws inspiration from Jane Austen’s Persuasion. The story centers on the lives of three sisters in the high-stakes world of competitive figure skating.
Jeff Norton serves as showrunner and executive producer. The writing team includes Shelley Scarrow, Sabrina Sherif, and Jacqueline Pepall.
Produced by WildBrain and commissioned by Family Channel in association with Netflix, Finding Her Edge premieres on Netflix Canada and Radio-Canada’s ICI TOU.TV EXTRA platform on Jan. 22. Radio-Canada will also broadcast the series at a later date on its linear channel ICI TÉLÉ.
