SkyShowtime and Telewizja Polsat have announced a historic first collaboration to produce Genialna M., a Polish adaptation of the global phenomenon H.P.I., Haut Potentiel Intellectuel.

Starring the highly acclaimed Agnieszka Dygant, the series follows Marta, a cleaner at a police station in Bielsko-Biała whose life changes one night when she impulsively reorganizes a complex evidence board.

It soon comes to light that Marta possesses an extraordinary IQ of 160, a trait that makes her an invaluable, albeit unconventional, asset to the local police force. This new original series aims to strengthen the local content strategies for both platforms in the competitive Polish market.

SkyShowtime project is rooted in the hit French format created by Nicolas Jean, Stéphane Carrié, and Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, which has inspired numerous international versions, including a high-profile US adaptation. Directed by Olga Chajdas (Imago, Wataha) and written by Błażej Dzikowski and Agata Malesińska, Genialna M. is designed to be a standout addition to the 2026 television slate.

Producers emphasize that the show masterfully blends two of the audience’s favorite genres, comedy and crime, delivering a narrative that is as emotionally resonant as it is intellectually stimulating.
