Deep Fusion has appointed Sam Hodgkinson as Head of Software and launched four new AI-powered tools designed to streamline film and television production workflows.

Hodgkinson joins the company’s technology division, working alongside Creative Lead Christian Darkin and UI/UX Developer Emmanuel Obi-Akwari, and reporting to founder Benjamin Field.

The new tools — ScriptedPlannR™, MusicQ™, BabbL™ and BabbLPro™ — automate key tasks including script breakdowns, music cue sheet creation, subtitle generation and translation into 13 languages. The company says the tools aim to reduce manual work while keeping human creativity and oversight central to the process.

John Gore, Executive Chairman of John Gore Studios, said the technology would help production teams work more efficiently while protecting creative quality. Field added that Hodgkinson’s technical expertise would support the company’s goal of freeing teams to focus on storytelling and innovation.
