At NEM Dubrovnik 2026, we spoke with Canan Semiha Koca, Sales Executive for CEE, Baltics & Europe at OGM Universe, and Sığla Ünal, Sales Support Specialist at OGM Universe, about the market’s growth, increasing international participation, and the titles attracting attention this year.
How do you evaluate NEM Dubrovnik this year?
NEM was very good this year. Two years ago, it was not nearly as busy as it is today. While the market was still developing, there were other competing events taking place at the same time, which created some confusion for buyers about which market to attend.
In the past, NEM was more of a screening-focused event. However, especially since last year, participation has increased significantly. It has become one of the busiest markets in the region, and we are very pleased about that. It is particularly important for the CEE region. We are now seeing companies and professionals attending who were not coming before, which shows how much the market has grown.
Which titles are you highlighting this year as OGM Universe?
The market was very successful for us as well. As we do every year, we arrived with new titles and worked to present the most up-to-date version of our catalogue.
There was particularly strong interest in Deep in Love. Thanks to its ratings performance and overall success, we received very positive feedback from buyers. Clients from different territories told us they had been closely following the series.
At the same time, The Gentleman attracted significant attention in the international market. While it achieved a moderate level of success in Türkiye, international buyers showed strong interest in the title. Some clients even stated that they would like to acquire the series despite its relatively short run.
From a sales and distribution perspective, it was a very productive market for us. The standout titles this year were Deep in Love and The Gentleman. Looking ahead, we plan to return with new series next season and people here were already excited about what is to come from OGM Universe.
