Hulu Unveils First Look for Mindy Kaling’s ‘Not Suitable For Work’

Mindy Kaling’s latest comedy series, Not Suitable for Work, is officially set to premiere on Hulu on June 2, 2026.

The season will kick off with a three-episode drop, followed by two new episodes weekly until the grand finale on June 23.

Set in Manhattan’s vibrant Murray Hill neighborhood, Not Suitable for Work follows five work-obsessed twenty-somethings as they navigate the treacherous waters of professional ambition while desperately searching for personal happiness.

The series features a dynamic ensemble cast led by Ella Hunt, who portrays an intense first-year investment bank analyst, and Avantika, appearing as a fashion assistant to a high-maintenance celebrity stylist. Joining them are Will Angus, Jack Martin, and Nicholas Duvernay, alongside Jay Ellis, who plays a highly successful managing director.

The show also boasts an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Constance Wu and Ego Nwodim. Behind the scenes, Kaling reunites with her longtime collaborator Charlie Grandy, who serves as showrunner, continuing their successful partnership from The Mindy Project and The Sex Lives of College Girls.
