International distributor Eccho Rights has secured a major pan-regional deal in Latin America for hit Turkish daily drama Behind the Veil (Gelin), following an agreement with leading media group Albavision.

The deal covers five territories across the region, with Albavision acquiring the series for Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. The agreement marks a key milestone for the title, establishing its first broad presence across multiple Latin American markets.

Produced by Film Yapım Merkezi for Kanal 7, Behind the Veil is one of the most successful Turkish daily dramas of recent years and holds the record as the highest-rating daily series ever produced in Türkiye. The series blends classic melodrama with contemporary themes of love, loyalty and family conflict, driven by a powerful central romance that has proven its ability to connect with mass audiences.

Barbora Suster, Head of Sales for Latin America at Eccho Rights, commented: “This deal with Albavision represents a real breakthrough moment for Behind the Veil in Latin America. Having the Latin American Spanish dub ready has been crucial in opening the doors to the region, allowing us to introduce the series to multiple markets. Albavision’s scale and reach make them an ideal partner to establish the show across Latin America, and we see this agreement as the starting point for further expansion across LATAM.”

The agreement reinforces Eccho Rights’ long-standing relationship with Albavision and reflects growing confidence among Latin American broadcasters in high-performing Turkish daily dramas with a proven audience track record.
