Beta Cinema has officially unveiled the first-look images for High End, the highly anticipated psychological thriller from writer-director Antonia Campbell-Hughes.
Previously titled Diamond Shitter, the production is reaching its final days of principal photography in Dublin, following a month of filming that began in Geneva on March 8th. High End boasts a stellar international ensemble, featuring Raffey Cassidy, Andrea Riseborough, Alessandro Nivola, and Guy Pearce, all captured through the lens of Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Robbie Ryan.
Set against the backdrop of Geneva’s affluent expatriate elite, the narrative follows Nollaig, a young intern whose impulsive decision to steal and bodily absorb her host family’s diamonds triggers a visceral fracture in their polished world.
Campbell-Hughes, an SXSW award-winner, continues her bold exploration of identity and power dynamics through this strikingly original concept. A truly multinational collaboration, the project is supported by Screen Ireland, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture, and various European partners, with Beta Cinema managing international sales and UTA co-representing the North American rights.
