Apple TV unveiled its revamped 2026 content slate during the Apple TV Winter Press Day in Santa Monica, presenting a broad lineup of new and returning series, original films and live sports programming.

The presentation highlighted Apple TV’s growing commitment to weekly original releases throughout 2026, building on the platform’s evolution from its 2019 launch with nine originals to a library now comprising hundreds of critically acclaimed titles. Among the returning hits is Ted Lasso, set to return with its fourth season this summer.

The event featured first looks and teasers from a wide range of upcoming series, including season two of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Imperfect Women starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara, David E. Kelley’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles with Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, and Lucky, a new limited series led by Anya Taylor-Joy. Apple TV also shared first-look images from Cape Fear, Widow’s Bay, and Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, along with a clip from the upcoming season of The Last Thing He Told Me.

Creators and cast members from breakout Apple Originals such as Pluribus, Shrinking, Your Friends & Neighbors, and Sugar took to the stage to discuss what lies ahead for their series. On the film side, Apple previewed upcoming original movies including Outcome, The Dink, Mayday, Matchbox The Movie, and Way of the Warrior Kid, following the success of F1, which recently secured four Academy Award nominations.

Live sports also played a central role, with a conversation between Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services Eddy Cue and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali confirming Apple TV as the US broadcast partner for the 2026 Formula 1 season. Formula 1 joins Apple TV’s expanding sports portfolio alongside Major League Soccer and Friday Night Baseball, reinforcing the platform’s push into premium live sports content.
