The popular word-based game show Lingo Türkiye, which airs on TRT, has reached a significant milestone with the broadcast of its 400th episode.

Since its debut on October 23, 2023, the Kemal Uçar-hosted series has established itself as one of TRT’s most enduring and successful competition formats. Consistently leading its category in the access prime-time slot, the show airs every weekday at 17:45 and has maintained a strong grip on local ratings.

Distributed globally by All3Media International, the Lingo format has been adapted in 18 territories worldwide, including the US, UK, Italy, France, and Spain, with its Turkish success serving as a prime example of how a global concept can forge a deep, genuine connection with a local audience.

Lingo Türkiye‘s sustainable success is the result of a strategic collaboration between production house Shine Medya, broadcaster TRT, and the formatting expertise of All3Media. Beyond Türkiye’s borders, the international momentum for the series continues to grow, with All3Media recently announcing a successful launch for the format on Greece’s Star Channel.

By blending educational value with high-stakes entertainment, Lingo Türkiye has proven to be a cornerstone of TRT’s content strategy, celebrating the richness of the language while maintaining a broad, family-friendly appeal that keeps viewers returning day after day.

Gabriel Andrews, Sales Executive for Balkans, Greece, Türkiye and CIS at All3Media International, commented: “We are thrilled with the huge success of Lingo Türkiye. It has been fantastic to see the rise of Lingo’s popularity in Türkiye into it becoming a favourite game show for the local audience. We congratulate our valued partners Shine Medya and TRT on producing and broadcasting 400 high-quality episodes.

It is a huge milestone, and we hope the show continues for many more episodes on TRT. We are also happy to share that Star Channel in Greece have successfully launched their first season. We are very excited to see their production of this internationally successful game show and are pleased to be partnering with them on another excellent adaptation of the format.”

Adil Şentekin, Founder and CEO of Shine Medya, said: “Lingo is a format that has proven its long-running success across many international markets. Reaching 400 episodes in Türkiye and becoming the most-watched game show in its category in the access prime time slot clearly demonstrates the format’s universal appeal and the strength of the collaboration between Shine Medya, TRT and All3Media International.

Lingo Türkiye is a strong example of how a global format can build a genuine connection with a local audience. Working alongside All3Media International and TRT, we have created a sustainable success. Reaching this milestone with such a strong performance is a testament to the passion, discipline and dedication of the entire team.”
