Dynamic Television has announced that ZDF has joined the upcoming Swedish drama-thriller Till Death Do Us Part as a co-producer.

The six-part series is being developed in collaboration with TV4, Harmonica Films, SF Studios, and Film Stockholm, with Dynamic Television also handling worldwide distribution.

The series is set to premiere in July 2026 on TV4 Play Plus, followed by a linear broadcast on TV4 shortly after.

Aliette Opheim (Malin) and Filip Berg (Tobias) lead the cast, alongside Adam Lundgren, Joel Spira, Madeleine Martin, Nanna Blondell, and Christopher Wagelin in supporting roles.

The story follows Malin, whose husband Tobias is accused of murder. Convinced of his innocence, she takes on his defense as his lawyer. However, as secrets begin to emerge, Malin is forced to confront the possibility that Tobias may, in fact, be guilty.

The series is written by Veronica Zacco, directed by Julia Lindström, and produced by Per Janérus, based on an original idea by Björn Carlström, Stefan Thunberg, and Veronica Zacco.

Annika Schmidt of Dynamic Television stated that ZDF’s involvement further strengthens the project’s international appeal, while ZDF’s Maik Platzen emphasized that the series continues the strong tradition of Scandinavian noir storytelling.
