SkyShowtime is expanding its slate of Polish original productions with a new action drama titled Morpheus.

Morpheus is set to premiere later this year and will be the platform’s third Polish original debuting in 2026.

Directed by Maciej Migas and written by Michał Wawrzecki, the story centers on Piotr Leyer, a lawyer who becomes the head of a criminal gang run by his family. In the brutal world of crime, he crosses more and more boundaries.

The cast includes Andrzej Grabowski, Kamil Szeptycki, Mateusz Kmiecik, and Sylwia Gola.

SkyShowtime’s Chief Content Officer Kai Finke commented on their strategy regarding local European productions, saying: “As we enter 2026, determined more than ever to continue our mission to bring audiences compelling stories that resonate with today’s viewers, we are far from slowing down. We are consistently expanding our collaboration with the most talented creators to enrich SkyShowtime’s offering with new Polish productions. This time, we are proud to announce that our next Polish SkyShowtime original series is Morpheus (Morfeusz) — an action series that we hope will keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the very last scene. Our ambition remains to make SkyShowtime the place where film lovers find the entertainment they expect: high-quality, authentic, and engaging.
