Ay Yapım’s new series Deha (Genius) premiered on Sunday, September 22, and quickly topped the ratings. The first episode scored 6.24 points in ABC1 20+, 6.17 in the AB category, and 5.49 in Total.

What Happened in the First Episode of ‘Deha’?
Mathematical genius Devran makes a breakthrough with his doctoral thesis, unveiling a groundbreaking theorem that earns him an offer and a large cash prize from the U.S. While everyone talks about his success, there’s only one person Devran wants to hear about it: his father, İskender. Despite trying to keep his family away from İskender, Devran fails to stop his youngest brother, Boran, from getting close to him. The episode takes a tragic turn when Boran is murdered by İskender’s enemies. In the episode’s dramatic finale, Devran and İskender face off at a poker table, leaving the audience wondering what Devran will do next.
