Rob Reiner and his photographer-producer wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead on Dec. 14 at their Brentwood home.

LAFD received an urgent call about an incident at the couple’s home. Two people matching the descriptions of the famous couple were confirmed deceased by the police; however, they are yet to be identified officially. The cause of death remains under investigation and authorities declined to address reports that the call came from one of Reiner’s children.

The couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is said to be responsible for the killings and is currently held without bail. The police are yet to disclose the evidence that led them to the son; however, according to the resource, he was seen arguing with his father a day before and the bodies were found by Rob Reiner and Michele Singer’s daughter Romy.

Reiner made his mark as both an actor and filmmaker and is best known for his roles in All in the Family, The Wolf of Wall Street, and recently The Bear. He had met his wife, Michele Singer, on the set of When Harry Met Sally, and the couple had three children together.
