Republic anniversary celebrations on Turkish televisions

The 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic is commemorated on Turkish TV’s with special content. TRT decides to postpone its program due to the events in Gaza.

Some television channels have prepared special content for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

“TRT has postponed the entertainment-oriented concerts and shows that it will organize within the framework of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Republic, for which all preparations have been completed, to a later date due to the alarming human tragedy in Gaza,” the state channel TRT said in a statement regarding the 100th anniversary events. Therefore, no content will be broadcast on TRT screens for the 100th anniversary.

Screenings about Republic on D-Smart

A special category has been added to D-Smart GO for October 29th Republic Day. The category named ‘Our Republic is 100 Years Old’ includes Atatürk and Republic themed movies, historical documentaries and many other content.

Some of the series, movies and documentaries in the ‘Our Republic is 100 Years Old’ category are as follows: Veda, Beni Hatırlayınız, Dersimiz Atatürk, Cumhuriyet Kadınları, Çanakkale 1915, Son Umut (The Water Diviner), 52 Hafta, Vatanım Sensin, Yüzyılın Yüzleri.

Special 100th Anniversary Channel from Digiturk

Digiturk welcomes the 100th anniversary of the Republic with a new channel that will broadcast until October 29.

Special movies and programs for the 100th anniversary are waiting for Digiturk viewers on channel 1. Digiturk members will be able to watch the special 100th anniversary channel from anywhere via beIN CONNECT and live TV on TOD.

The content includes 20 exclusive productions from Turkish cinema, including films such as Veda, Vatan ve Namık Kemal, Dersimiz Atatürk, Gazi Kadın, Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali, Eve Giden Yol 1914, as well as informative documentaries and interviews about the history of the Republic and Turkish sports.

TV+ Free until October 31

Turkcell is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the republic with various campaigns. As part of these campaigns, the premium features of the TV+ platform will be available to everyone between October 26-31. Those participating in the campaign can access the content for 7 days. In addition, special content such as Kurtuluş series written by Turgut Özakman, Veda directed by Zülfü Livaneli, Çanakkale 1915 and Dersimiz Atatürk, also written by Turgut Özakman, are also on air for the Republic Day.

‘Atatürk’ Movie on FOX on October 29

The countdown for the movie Atatürk continues. Atatürk, in which actor Aras Bulut İynemli portrays Mustafa Kemal, will meet with the audience on FOX screens on October 29 at 21.00, specially for the 100th anniversary of the republic.

Shot by Mehmet Ada Öztekin, Atatürk, which will be broadcast on television and in cinemas as two films, is produced by Lanistar Medya, produced by Saner Ayar, Hakan Karamahmutoğlu, Cengiz Çağatay. In addition to Aras Bulut İynemli, the cast includes Songül Öden, Sarp Akkaya, Esra Bilgiç and Mehmet Günsür.

Celebration Scenes in ‘Kızılcık Şerbeti’

In the last episode of Show TV’s ratings record-breaking series Kızılcık Şerbeti, scenes of Republic Day celebrations drew attention.
