Prime Video has released the official trailer for Kevin, an animated series created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert.
The show follows Kevin, a neurotic housecat who unexpectedly breaks up with his owners. Voiced by Jason Schwartzman, Kevin moves into a local animal rescue in Astoria, Queens, where a chaotic group of misfit animals helps him figure out what he truly wants in life. Aubrey Plaza plays Dana, one half of the human couple Kevin leaves behind.
The series features a star-studded cast including Addison Rae, Joe Locke, Cary Elwes, Charles Melton, Nicole Byer, Debby Ryan, Whoopi Goldberg as Cupcake, John Waters as Armando, Aparna Nancherla as Judy, Gil Ozeri as Seth, and Amy Sedaris as Brandi.
Produced by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios, the show is executive produced by Plaza and Wengert, with Wengert serving as showrunner. All eight episodes of the first season will be released on Prime Video on April 20.
