The countdown is on for Pluribus, the upcoming Apple TV+ series from Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The sci-fi drama stars Better Call Saul’s Rhea Seehorn in the lead role, and a new teaser has just been unveiled.

The story follows “the most miserable person on Earth and the one who must save the world from happiness.” Blending dark comedy with eccentric storytelling, Gilligan has described the series as a “grounded genre drama,” marking his first step into a new creative territory.

Apple TV+ has shown strong confidence in the project, granting Pluribus a Season 2 renewal ahead of its premiere. The platform continues to expand its lineup with distinctive titles, including Jason Momoa’s historical epic Chief of War.

In Chief of War, a historical drama set in the late 18th century, Momoa plays Ka’iana, a native tribal leader. Focusing on Hawaii’s colonial era, the series stands out as one of the most notable shows of summer 2025.

Alongside Seehorn, the cast of Pluribus features Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor, and Samba Schutte. Gilligan reportedly wrote the lead role specifically for Seehorn, raising anticipation about the world he has built and the story he will tell.

Pluribus premieres on Apple TV+ on November 7.
