At NEM Dubrovnik 2026, we spoke with Inter Medya President Hasret Özcan and Senior Sales & Communication Manager Sinem Alışkan about the market’s evolution, its growing importance for the region, and the titles attracting attention this year.
How do you evaluate NEM Dubrovnik?
NEM has become an increasingly important market for the region. Today, it serves as one of the key meeting points bringing together professionals from the Balkans and across Europe, which makes it a valuable event for us and one we intend to continue attending.
One of the market’s greatest strengths is the opportunity it provides to meet clients face-to-face. Being able to present content, receive immediate feedback, and reconnect with industry professionals in person remains extremely important.
As Inter Medya, we have also witnessed significant growth in participation over the years. This is our fourth year attending NEM, and each edition has grown stronger than the last. Overall, we are very pleased with the market’s development.
Which titles are you highlighting this year as Inter Medya?
It has been a very productive market for Inter Medya. We arrived with new titles, and Eshref Ruya and Halef have been among our key highlights this year.
We held numerous meetings aimed at accelerating the international journey of these projects. In particular, Halef has already begun airing in Croatia, and we are closely following audience and broadcaster feedback from the market.
We also saw strong interest in our micro drama projects. These productions, developed for different platforms and viewing habits, attracted a new range of buyers and sparked a great deal of curiosity during meetings. We are seeing growing interest in alternative formats, with clients increasingly asking questions about these projects. For us, this confirms the value of continuing to diversify our content portfolio.
Overall, our meetings have been highly productive. NEM provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, establish new connections, and further expand our international partnerships across the region.
