Meryem Uzerli attended the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. The actress’s new series RU will premiere on GAİN on May 24th.
According to Birsen Altuntaş, Meryem Uzerli will also be one of the special guests at the Global Gift Gala organized by Eva Longaria during the festival, where world-renowned pianist Lang Lang will also perform. She will also be one of the special guests of the Better World Fund, along with Juliet Binoche, for an organization aimed at empowering women.
About Meryem Uzerli’s Upcoming Series ‘RU’
RU, tells the extraordinary love story between a 38-year-old woman and an 18-year-old young man. Alongside Uzerli, the cast includes Burak Berkay Akgül, Hira Koyuncuoğlu, Emre Karayel, Gökay Türkmen, Zafer Algöz, Şevval Sam, Derya Alabora, Gonca Vuslateri, Kartal Can Ermiş, Beril Kayar, and Sevgi Temel. The series was created by Taylan Yapıcı, who co-wrote the script with Yeşim Çıtak. Fatih Aksoy and Yiğit Şardan produced the series, while Bahadır Karataş and Burak Çaldır directed it.
