‘Kötü Kan’: NOW TV’s New Series Holds First Reading Rehearsal

Kötü Kan (Bad Blood), one of NOW TV‘s most ambitious projects this season, has completed its first reading rehearsal.

The series follows Kartal, a former police officer who later becomes the security manager of a nightclub. His life takes a dangerous turn when he gets entangled with the mafia and as he tries to escape the mafia’s grasp, Kartal moves in with his children, who have been living far away from him. The series explores his struggle to break free from the mafia while trying to reconnect with his children and become a father figure to them.

Produced by NTC Yapım, Kötü Kan is written by Barış Erdoğan and İlker Arslan, and directed by M. Çağatay Tosun. The cast features Ertan Saban, Damla Sönmez, Hüseyin Avni Danyal, Levent Ülgen, Savaş Özdemir, Sermet Yeşil, Mert Doğan, Gökçe Özyol, Gonca Sarıyıldız, Alayça Öztürk, Murat Göçmez, Ziya Kürküt, Halil İbrahim Kurum, Deniz Bolışık, Meltem Gülenç, Nazlı Senem Ünal, Mina Koyuncular, Doğa Karakaş, Bilgesu Kural, Hakan Vanlı, Cihat Parıltı, Merve Sevin, Bekir Erdem Öz, and Mutluhan Kasap.
