The Haunting of Hill House (2018)

Directed by horror master Mike Flanagan, the Netflix Original series features Kate Siegel, Victoria Pedretti, Michiel Huisman and Elizabeth Reaser. The first in the series, the story of a family of seven is based on paranormal events in their recently moved house on the hill. You will get goosebumps while watching this series set in two different time periods.

The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)

In Bly Manor, the second in “The Haunting of” series, Flanagan uses the same cast with a few changes, but the plot is completely different from the first series. Set in England, the series centers on the Bly family’s caretaker who comes from America to take care of their two children and discovers paranormal events in the house. The series was nominated for Primetime Emmy, Critics’ Choice, Bram Stoker and won MTV and Saturn awards.

Archive 81 (2022)

This horror series starring Mamoudou Athie and Dina Shihabi has been a hit on Netflix since its release. Hired by an unknown company to restore multiple tapes, Dan realizes that these tapes may be the final evidence of a girl named Melody’s most terrifying moments. This 8-part miniseries is one you won’t be able to stop watching.

Bates Motel (2013)

This horror series, which ended after five seasons, has a massive fan base. Set before Hitchcock’s famous film Pyscho, the series begins when a mother buys a motel with her son after the loss of her husband, but the motel is no ordinary motel. The cast includes Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga and Max Thieriot.

The Midnight Club (2022)

Created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, this miniseries is adapted from the book of the same name by Christopher Pike. The series begins when Ilonka, a cancer patient, is admitted to a care home in the hope of being cured. It doesn’t take her long to realize that the other young patients at the care home have a club where they gather every night to tell each other horrible stories. Iman Benson, Igby Ridgney and Ruth Codd play the lead roles.
