The Golden Globe Awards, one of the most prestigious honors of the season, have revealed their 2025 winners.

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards, hosted by stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser, took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Demi Moore won the Best Actress award for her performance in The Substance, one of the most talked-about films of 2024. While accepting the award, which marks a career resurgence for her, Moore said, “I’ve been doing this a long time, over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor.”

Meanwhile, Jacques Audiard’s musical drama Emilia Perez, which had garnered 10 nominations, also stole the spotlight. The film won four awards, including Best Foreign Language Film. Zoe Saldaña was recognized for her role in the movie, taking home the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist triumphed in the Best Drama Film category, earning awards for Best Director and Best Actor.

On the TV side, FX’s Shōgun emerged as a big winner, bagging Best Drama Series along with awards for Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.
