Sky has released the first trailer for its upcoming summer drama The Five Star Weekend, starring Jennifer Garner and based on Elin Hilderbrand’s best-selling novel.

Set to debut this July on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland, The Five Star Weekend follows Garner as Hollis Shaw, a renowned celebrity chef and author whose seemingly perfect life is shattered by the sudden death of her husband.

In an attempt to navigate her grief and find herself again, Hollis organizes a unique weekend getaway at her Nantucket home, inviting three friends from different stages of her life, childhood, her twenties, and her thirties, along with a surprise “fifth star.”

The production boasts a stellar ensemble cast, featuring D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, and Chloë Sevigny as the core group of friends, with Timothy Olyphant and Garner’s former “13 Going on 30” co-star Judy Greer also joining the lineup. Described by Sky as a “glossy and sun-soaked” production, the series is set against a luxurious coastal backdrop where boundaries are pushed and long-held secrets are eventually exposed.

In addition to her leading role, Garner serves as an executive producer on the project, which Sky officials highlight as a perfect, character-driven addition to their summer slate.
