Beta Film has acquired the international distribution rights to the six-part drama series The Panini Family – Album of Dreams.

The series tells the remarkable true story of the family behind the world-famous Panini sticker empire. Spanning from wartime Italy to the 1970 FIFA World Cup, the story follows the Panini family’s journey as their collectible stickers grow into a global phenomenon.

The series is produced by Indigo Film in collaboration with Rai Fiction and directed by Letizia Lamartire (The Law According to Lidia Poët). Serena Rossi stars as Olga Panini, the family’s matriarch, while the cast also includes Simone Liberati, Benedetta Cimatti, Federico Cesari, Luca di Sessa, Samuele Teneggi, Edoardo Pesce, and Barbora Bobulova.

Set against the hardships of World War II, the drama chronicles how the Panini family transformed a small newsstand business into an internationally renowned brand by investing in collectible stickers. The production was made with the support of Italy’s Ministry of Culture, the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission, the Municipality of Modena, and several local institutions. The Panini Family – Album of Dreams will be distributed internationally by Beta Film.
