Banijay Entertainment has released its first financial update since completing its merger with All3Media, outlining mixed results for the first half of 2026 while emphasizing the long-term potential of the newly combined business.

The company reported revenues of €1.37 billion, representing a 2.2% year-on-year decline, although the figures do not yet reflect All3Media’s contribution, which will be incorporated into the second-half results.

Production revenue fell by 11.9%, a decrease the company attributed to the planned timing of its production schedule. Distribution, however, delivered stronger performance, with revenue rising 10.5%, driven in part by a successful format sale completed during the first quarter.

Banijay also recorded significant growth across its entertainment and live events division, where revenue climbed by nearly 50%. The company credited the Winter Olympic Games and the 2026 FIFA World Cup for boosting both audience engagement and customer acquisition across its platforms.

Earlier this month, Banijay finalized its merger with All3Media, creating a global content group valued at approximately $8 billion. The expanded company now operates across 25 territories and oversees a catalogue of more than 265,000 hours of programming, including internationally recognized brands such as The Traitors, Big Brother, and Peaky Blinders.

Commenting on the results, CEO François Riahi described 2026 as a transformative year for Banijay, adding that the company’s focus in the coming months will shift toward integrating its businesses and unlocking the operational synergies expected from the merger.
