Based on the Eisner Award–winning graphic novel Telepaths by J. Michael Straczynski, the story is set in a world where 10% of the global population suddenly develops telepathic abilities following a mysterious electromagnetic event. This unexpected shift creates a tense and unpredictable environment, as society struggles to adapt to a reality where thoughts are no longer private and power dynamics rapidly evolve.

Blending science fiction with action-thriller elements, the film aims to explore both the spectacle and psychological implications of such abilities. The screenplay is written by Justin Rhodes (Terminator: Dark Fate), suggesting a narrative that balances character-driven tension with large-scale stakes.

On the production side, companies like AWA Studios and The Walsh Company are involved, reinforcing the project’s strong backing within the industry.
