These new additions will star alongside an already impressive lineup that includes Andrew Scott, Mia Goth, Allison Janney, Frank Dillane, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. The film marks a significant milestone as the first English-language feature for director Justine Triet, who won the 2024 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and has personally penned this latest script.

Described as a “vertiginous dive” into the shifting limits of a sound mind, the story explores themes of grief and obsession within a claustrophobic, “huis clos” setting. Industry executives are already positioning the project as a major awards contender, hailing it as a thriller of rare intelligence and emotional force.

Beyond Fonda, leading man Andrew Scott remains incredibly busy, with his historical thriller Pressure set for a September release, alongside upcoming roles in Walk the Blue Fields and Elsinore.
