Netflix has released the first trailer for Istanbul Encyclopedia, the latest series from TIMS&B Productions, set to premiere on April 17.
Created by acclaimed filmmaker Selman Nacar (Hesitation Wound, Between Two Dawns), the series follows Zehra, a young woman in search of identity and belonging after moving to Istanbul. Her path crosses with Nesrin, her mother’s estranged best friend. As the two women navigate their differences, the show explores themes of connection, memory, and transformation, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Istanbul.
The cast includes Helin Kandemir, Canan Ergüder, Kaan Mirac Sezen, Nezaket Erden, Tolga Tekin, Gregory Montel, Melisa Sözen and Müjde Ar.
