Warner Bros. Discovery and Doğuş Yayın Grubu have teamed up to expand the international reach of Turkish TV productions. Their first project is Poll Films’ new romantic comedy Salted Love (Tuzlu Kahve).
The series will air on Star TV in Türkiye and become available exclusively on HBO Max 24 hours after its television broadcast, reaching HBO Max subscribers in international markets as well.
What Is Salted Love About?
The series follows Derin, the daughter of a wealthy and established Istanbul family, and Mehmet, an heir to a major holding who returns from the US. When the young couple decides to marry, their very different families are forced to come together.
Blending romance, comedy and family drama, Salted Love explores love, traditions and generational differences through a warm and entertaining story.
The cast includes Nebahat Çehre, Eda Ece, Buğra Gülsoy, Binnur Kaya, Şevval Sam, Yasemin Ergene, Ceren Moray, Enis Arıkan and Sarp Apak.
Produced by Poll Films and Polat Yağcı, Salted Love is the first title under the new partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery and Doğuş Yayın Grubu.
