International distributor Eccho Rights has signed a three-series deal with Moroccan broadcaster and distributor Alshana, bringing three Turkish dramas to Moroccan audiences: Kara, Grapes of Love and Beneath the Surface.
The deal further expands the presence of Turkish series in Morocco and continues the long-standing partnership between Eccho Rights and Alshana.
Which Turkish Series Are Coming to Morocco?
Kara (Arak) is a revenge-driven romantic drama produced by Most Production for Show TV. The series follows Kara, a young thief from Istanbul who enters the life of Zeynep, the daughter of a family he once robbed. İlker Kaleli and Öykü Karayel lead the cast.
Grapes of Love (Kader Bağları), produced by Süreç Film for NOW, tells the story of Kerem, the heir to a prestigious wine-making family, and Sevda, a law student from a humble background. Serkan Çayoğlu and Ayça Ayşin Turan star in the romantic drama.
Beneath the Surface (Sorgu) is a crime thriller produced by Karga Seven Pictures as a TOD Original. Hazal Kaya stars as a police officer investigating her father’s mysterious death, alongside Çağlar Ertuğrul.
Turkish Dramas Continue to Grow in Morocco
The agreement builds on Eccho Rights and Alshana’s existing relationship. Alshana has previously acquired several Turkish titles, including Legacy, The Promise, Wounded Birds, My Home My Destiny and Brave and Beautiful.
The latest deal highlights the continued popularity of Turkish dramas in Morocco and the wider international market.
