Radial Entertainment is bringing back paranormal horror series A Haunting, ordering 16 new episodes in partnership with Jupiter Entertainment. Acquired as part of Radial’s March purchase of the New Dominion Pictures library, the franchise is targeted for delivery by September 2027, with the new episodes set to premiere exclusively on Radial’s Paranormal Chronicles channel in select territories.

The commission marks the second major franchise revival to emerge from Radial’s acquisition, following its investment in new episodes of The FBI Files. The strategy reflects the company’s focus on expanding established titles with proven audiences while growing the value of its library, which comprises approximately 75,000 titles.

“A Haunting is exactly the kind of enduring franchise we are building around at Radial: recognizable, proven programming with a passionate audience and meaningful room to grow,” said David Buoymaster, Chief Investment Officer at Radial Entertainment. He added that combining owned intellectual property with an experienced production partner and a contemporary creative approach would help the company expand the series’ value for audiences and platforms worldwide.

Jupiter Entertainment Joins the Revival

Jupiter Entertainment will produce the new episodes, bringing experience with long-running franchises including Snapped, Homicide Hunter and Fatal Attraction. The company also has team members who previously worked at New Dominion Pictures.

“As we continue to see with our long-running franchises like Snapped and Fatal Attraction, audiences are hungry for high-volume, repeatable series in the crime and supernatural space,” said Jupiter President Patrick Reardon. “We’re thrilled to partner with Radial to bring this beloved series to platforms across the globe.”

Operating from its production studio in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jupiter has the production infrastructure and capabilities to deliver the 16-episode order by September 2027.

A New Chapter for A Haunting

Across 11 seasons and more than 100 episodes, A Haunting has explored reported paranormal encounters through firsthand accounts, interviews and dramatic recreations. The series examines experiences witnesses have struggled to explain, focusing on the fear, uncertainty and lasting impact of alleged supernatural events.

The new episodes will retain the franchise’s unsettling approach while incorporating contemporary horror filmmaking techniques. Planned elements include sophisticated cinematography, lighting, sound design and visual effects, alongside greater use of archival materials, photographs, home videos and social media content.

The series will also draw on a broader range of domestic and international accounts, aiming to combine immersive recreations and psychological suspense with experiences described by real people.

The revival comes amid continued audience interest in horror across cinemas and streaming platforms, particularly supernatural stories that blend documentary-style storytelling with atmospheric recreations and firsthand material.

Cristina Guggino and Katie Carroll will serve as executive producers for Radial Entertainment. The new episodes of A Haunting are scheduled to begin premiering on Paranormal Chronicles in select territories in September 2027.
