MediaHub has expanded its Turkish drama catalogue with Roses (Aşk Yarası), securing worldwide distribution rights to the new series.

Produced by SAGA in collaboration with Latin American production group NonStop Studios and Screen Capital Fund, the drama marks the first project from the companies’ partnership, combining Turkish and Latin American production expertise.

What Is Roses About?

The series follows Pars, whose discovery that his biological father is alive sends him from Adana to Istanbul and into the wealthy Akabey family. He agrees to marry Asya, a member of a rival family, as part of an attempt to end a long-running feud.

The arrangement becomes complicated when Pars remains emotionally attached to Gül, his former love, while Asya falls for him. The resulting triangle unfolds against a backdrop of family secrets, rivalries and conflicting loyalties.

Directed by Atilla Cengiz and Irmak Çengel, Roses stars Oktay Ekinci, Ecem Simge Yurdatapan and Meltem Avşaroğlu, alongside Dorukcan Sarıduman, Cansu Öztekin and Elif İnci.

The title joins MediaHub’s international catalogue, which includes scripted and unscripted content from markets including Korea, the Netherlands, Latin America and Greece.
