OGM Pictures’ upcoming drama Ferda, starring Onur Tuna and Özge Törer, has released a new promo. Internationally distributed by OGM UNIVERSE, the series was introduced to global buyers at MIPCOM 2026 ahead of its upcoming premiere on Kanal D.
A new promo has been released for Ferda, OGM Pictures’ upcoming drama starring Onur Tuna and Özge Törer. Formerly known as Karakuyu in Türkiye, the series follows a woman who returns to her hometown years after escaping a traumatic past, determined to reclaim her life and protect her sisters.
Directed by Nezaket Coşkun and written by Deniz Akçay, Ferda centres on Fikriye, who builds a new life in Istanbul under the name Ferda after escaping a forced marriage to a powerful landowner. Twelve years later, an unexpected inheritance brings her back to her hometown, where she must confront the people and power structures she once left behind.
Ferda Returns to Confront Her Past
As Ferda reconnects with her family and the influential figures of Karakuyu, she discovers that the land she has inherited carries unresolved conflicts from the past. When she realises that her sisters remain trapped in the same oppressive environment she escaped, she decides to stay and fight for their freedom.
Her path crosses with Kahraman, a member of the very family she has reason to distrust. Their unexpected alliance gradually develops into a complicated relationship, adding another layer to a story shaped by family secrets, power struggles, revenge and the pursuit of independence.

OGM UNIVERSE holds the international distribution rights to Ferda and presented the drama to global buyers as one of the key titles in its MIPCOM 2026 lineup. The series was positioned around its female-led story, intense romantic conflict and themes of resilience and confronting the past.
