We continue to take a look at the weekly ratings performance of Turkish TV series.

New Season Competition Begins

As new series began airing in the second week of September, competition in the ratings table intensified. Torn Apart and Different Lives, which continued from the summer season, maintained their strong performances, while Salted Love showed an increase in its second episode and stood out among the new-season productions. A.B.İ., returning for its second season, and Dignity, which premiered this week, achieved similar results, while Sevdan Bir Ateş ranked ahead of Love and Throne.

The One I Love attracted particular attention in Total with the premiere of its second season, while Marriage Is Beautiful had a more modest start. Overall, in the first week of the new season, both new and returning series remained below the general ratings levels they achieved last season.

Overall Weekly Overview

The strongest production of the week was once again Torn Apart. The series recorded ratings of 8.35 in Total, 5.92 in AB and 7.80 in ABC1. Compared with the previous week, the series increased its ratings in Total and ABC1 while experiencing a slight decline in AB. Nevertheless, it maintained the strong position it established during the summer season as new-season series began to enter the schedule.

On Monday evening, Different Lives continued its upward momentum, reaching ratings of 7.89 in Total, 5.31 in AB and 7.03 in ABC1. The series increased its ratings across all three categories compared with the previous week and remained one of the two strongest series of the week alongside Torn Apart. Also airing for the first time that evening, Marriage Is Beautiful recorded ratings of 2.13 in Total, 2.24 in AB and 2.71 in ABC1, making it one of the weaker premieres of the new season.

On Tuesday evening, Salted Love continued its rise in its second episode, recording ratings of 4.57 in Total, 5.22 in AB and 5.43 in ABC1. A.B.İ., returning with the first episode of its second season that same evening, recorded 3.82 in Total, 2.88 in AB and 3.66 in ABC1, falling below the 5.18 Total, 3.10 AB and 4.39 ABC1 ratings with which it concluded its previous season. Dignity, which also premiered that evening, recorded ratings of 3.50 in Total, 2.66 in AB and 3.39 in ABC1. As a result, Salted Love was the strongest series of Tuesday evening across all three categories, while A.B.İ. ranked ahead of Dignity in the first week of the new season.

Wednesday evening saw two new series go head-to-head. As a result, Sevdan Bir Ateş started ahead of its rival in all three categories. It is also important to take into account that both productions faced the Sporting CP–Galatasaray match, which attracted high viewing figures that evening, when evaluating these results.

On Thursday evening, The One I Love returned with the first episode of its second season, recording ratings of 4.19 in Total, 3.30 in AB and 3.59 in ABC1. Having concluded its previous season with ratings of 7.29 in Total, 4.75 in AB and 6.64 in ABC1, the series started its new season below its previous season finale. Also airing that evening, Love, Probably declined across all three categories compared with the previous week. The high viewing figures achieved by the Fenerbahçe–Roma match on Thursday evening also intensified competition for the series.

On Saturday evening, Sins and Roses, one of the productions returning for a new season, recorded ratings of 3.68 in Total, 2.31 in AB and 3.27 in ABC1.
