ATV Distribution has added Land of the Sun (Güneşin Doğduğu Yer) to its international catalogue following the Turkish drama’s premiere on atv on September 17.
Produced by TIMSBI Productions and created by Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, the series opened as the highest-rated prime-time Turkish drama among AB and ABC1 audiences.

What Is Land of the Sun About?
Set across Berlin and Adana, the drama follows Kenan, heir to the powerful Kozan family, and Leyla, a young woman raised in Germany. Their relationship becomes entangled with family rivalries, hidden secrets and a long-running fight for justice.
Burak Özçivit and Beyza Gümülcine lead the cast, alongside Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Görkem Sevindik, Devrim Yakut and Hilal Anay.
Written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali, Land of the Sun will now be presented by ATV Distribution to international buyers as part of its premium Turkish drama slate.
