The highly anticipated Rick and Morty spin-off series, President Curtis, is officially set to premiere on Adult Swim on July 26, debuting immediately following the flagship show’s season nine finale before streaming the next day on HBO Max.
Keith David, who has voiced the Commander in Chief since his first appearance in the fan-favorite season two episode “Get Schwifty,” returns to lead the series, joined by a star-studded voice cast that includes Stephanie Beatriz (Twisted Metal) and Jim Rash (Community).

Co-created by Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, President Curtis recently screened its pilot episode to great acclaim at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the crown jewel of the animation industry. The narrative follows the distinctly unconventional U.S. President Andre Curtis and his eccentric staff as they navigate everything from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal crises and unexplained phenomena.
This expansion comes as the broader Rick and Morty franchise, already renewed through season 12, continues to grow, with the news that supervising director Jacob Hair is currently in talks to helm an upcoming animated feature film for Warner Bros.
