Eccho Rights is adding another Turkish daily drama to its international sales slate with Asiye, a new Kanal 7 series produced by Kino Film Productions. The distributor will introduce the title to international buyers at MIPCOM 2026, with presales opening ahead of its planned November debut in Türkiye.
The series extends Eccho Rights’ established relationship with Kanal 7, whose previous collaborations with the distributor include Legacy, Winds of Love and Behind the Veil. The latter is now in its fourth season and has been described as the highest-rated daily drama ever broadcast in Türkiye.
Asiye: A mother’s search for a second chance
At the centre of Asiye is a woman whose life changes irrevocably in a single day. Seven years ago, she lost her husband and newborn son and was sent to prison. After her release, she rescues a boy from drowning outside the home of one of Istanbul’s most influential families, unaware that the child is the son she thought she had lost forever.
Esengül Aypek stars in the title role, alongside Ferhat Işıktaş as İlyas. The series will be directed by Taner Tunç and Nuh Şen, both of whom previously worked on Kanal 7’s long-running drama Legacy.
Filming is scheduled to begin on 17 October, ahead of the series’ November premiere on Kanal 7. Eccho Rights will use MIPCOM to introduce the new daily drama to international distributors and broadcasters.
