Aşk ve Taht (Love and the Throne): A Battle for Power Begins

Born a prince, Alaeddin’s fate changes as the struggle for the throne intensifies. After spending eight years in captivity, he returns determined to reclaim the future that was taken from him. But his return to the palace brings a new set of challenges, including old rivalries, shifting alliances and powerful figures competing for control.

Alaeddin’s arrival also reshapes the balance within the Seljuk palace. Powerful women of the dynasty, including Ümmühan Sultan, Melike Hatun and Nurcihan Hatun, find themselves at the center of the palace’s political struggles.

Behind every alliance lies another calculation, while the fight for the throne continues to reshape the fate of those surrounding Alaeddin.

Alaeddin and Princess Destina’s Story

Alongside its political drama, Aşk ve Taht (Love and the Throne) will explore the relationship between Alaeddin and Princess Destina of Alanya. Coming from different worlds, the two powerful characters find their paths intertwined as love, loyalty, revenge and ambition collide.

Their relationship is set against a larger struggle that could ultimately influence the future of the Seljuk state. The new trailer’s focus on their first encounter has already raised curiosity about where their story will lead.

Produced by Bozdağ Film, Aşk ve Taht (Love and the Throne) will premiere soon on ATV, bringing the story of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat’s journey from captivity to the throne to television.
