Prime Video has officially announced the global premiere of Sterling Point, a highly anticipated young adult (YA) series created by Megan Park, the visionary behind My Old Ass.

Set to debut all eight episodes on August 5 in over 240 countries and territories, the coming-of-age drama Sterling Point follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin). Raised in New York City by her loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life is upended when she inherits a mysterious island in Canada from her late grandfather. Upon arriving at the island, she finds herself navigating the complexities of new friendships and budding romances while unearthing long-buried family secrets.

The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Missi Pyle, and Keen Ruffalo, and is produced through a powerhouse collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire (Gossip Girl, The OC), and Margot Robbie’s production banner, LuckyChap. Megan Park serves as both director and co-showrunner, joined by veteran YA producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

Together, this creative team aims to deliver a compelling mystery set against the scenic but secretive backdrop of the Canadian coast, blending the emotional depth of a traditional drama with the intrigue of a modern family mystery.
