About the Series
The Gentleman centers on Yusuf (Mert Ramazan Demir), a man who stages a calculated encounter with Dila (Mina Demirtaş) to gain entry into the powerful Kızılhan family. On the surface, Yusuf is a rescuer — charming, composed, impossible to suspect. Beneath it, he is executing a long-planned act of revenge. Through flashbacks, we learn who Yusuf once was: a man of modest dreams, undone by debt, family crisis, and loss.
The woman he loved, Hazan (Melis Sezen), is now married to Sarp (Salih Bademci) and fully absorbed into the Kızılhan world. Yusuf has spent years becoming someone else, patient, strategic, and ready. Using the cover of a high-profile hotel opening, Yusuf positions himself at the heart of the family. The game has begun.
Directed by Zeynep Günay and Recai Karagöz, written by Aybike Ertürk, The Gentleman enters Monday’s competitive prime time lineup as one of the season’s most anticipated new titles.
