The latest production from OGM Pictures, The Gentleman (Delikanlı), marks a successful debut on Show TV, signaling a new global hit for international distributors.

The Gentleman

OGM Universe, the global distribution powerhouse of OGM Pictures, has officially added the highly anticipated drama series The Gentleman to its international portfolio. Created by the visionary Onur Güvenatam, the series recently made its high-stakes prime-time premiere on Show TV, one of Turkey’s most prominent broadcasters, instantly proving its potential to become a staple of international television.

A Dominant Premiere Performance

The debut of The Gentleman has been met with immediate acclaim, delivering a “Solid Opening Night” that surpassed industry expectations. The first episode demonstrated broad appeal across all demographics, securing a 2.90 rating in Total, a 3.42 in AB, and a 3.66 in ABC1.

These figures are more than just numbers; they represent a deep, immediate connection with the audience, a hallmark of OGM Pictures’ storytelling. This promising start provides a strong foundation for the series as it gears up for its journey across global screens.

The Gold Standard of Turkish Drama

With The Gentleman, OGM UNIVERSE continues its tradition of offering high-end, narratively rich content that resonates with diverse cultures. The series combines sophisticated production values with the raw emotional depth that Turkish series are famous for, making it a “must-have” title for global buyers seeking the next big ratings driver.

As the story unfolds in the coming weeks, The Gentleman is expected to solidify its place as a top-tier performer, further cementing OGM Pictures’ reputation as a leader in premium global content.

Trending from the First Episode

Off-screen, The Gentleman sparked immediate conversation. The series dominated X (formerly Twitter), trending for hours as viewers responded enthusiastically to its high production values and the strength of its cast performances.

About the Series

The Gentleman centers on Yusuf (Mert Ramazan Demir), a man who stages a calculated encounter with Dila (Mina Demirtaş) to gain entry into the powerful Kızılhan family. On the surface, Yusuf is a rescuer — charming, composed, impossible to suspect. Beneath it, he is executing a long-planned act of revenge. Through flashbacks, we learn who Yusuf once was: a man of modest dreams, undone by debt, family crisis, and loss.

The woman he loved, Hazan (Melis Sezen), is now married to Sarp (Salih Bademci) and fully absorbed into the Kızılhan world. Yusuf has spent years becoming someone else, patient, strategic, and ready. Using the cover of a high-profile hotel opening, Yusuf positions himself at the heart of the family. The game has begun.

Directed by Zeynep Günay and Recai Karagöz, written by Aybike Ertürk, The Gentleman enters Monday’s competitive prime time lineup as one of the season’s most anticipated new titles.
