How was MIP Cancun for Inter Medya?
Beatriz Cea Okan: This is our ninth year attending MIP Cancun, if I’m not mistaken, and the market keeps growing. We’re very happy to be here because we meet clients we don’t usually see in other markets. We always organize screenings, and this year we presented Halef. It was a huge success, the room was completely full, and no one left, which is actually the most important thing, because usually people come in and leave since it’s around lunchtime. Luckily, everyone stayed for the full episode, and we received extremely positive feedback. We’re very proud of this title. We are also presenting the second season of Eshref Ruya, which is performing incredibly well.
Can you also talk about your vertical drama?
Beatriz Cea Okan: On the first day, Can joined a panel about vertical dramas. We’re very happy about this area because Boardroom to Bedroom is our first production in this field, and our idea is to produce around 100 titles per year, you really need volume in this format. We’re already in talks with many platforms and OTTs. Since Turkish content is already very successful, we believe Turkish vertical dramas will also be a big success.

What is the duration of the episodes?
Beatriz Cea Okan: They’re between one and two minutes, and there are 55 episodes.
How do you evaluate your recent performance in the region?
Beatriz Cea Okan: We are very satisfied. Our catalogue is strong, and our titles continue to perform well internationally. Corazón Negro in Chile is currently in the Top 10, which is extremely important for us. Traición is also performing excellently; it ranked number two in Argentina. Also, Eshref Ruya is among the top five titles in Türkiye, so we’re very happy with its success as well.
