Filming has officially begun for TOD STUDIOS‘ upcoming flagship series, Alıkara.

Produced by Karga7 Pictures and starring two of the generation’s most talented actors, Miray Daner and Halit Özgür Sarı, the show is already being hailed as one of the season’s most ambitious projects thanks to its powerhouse cast and compelling narrative. Directed by Hülya Gezer, the series is set to meet its audience soon on TOD.

Blending mystery, romance, and emotional depth, Alıkara tells the story of two distinct individuals whose destinies are bound together by a shared grief. Işık And (Miray Daner) is a rational, sharp forensic psychologist raised in Istanbul, while Deniz Baran Dağ (Halit Özgür Sarı) is a resilient homicide captain who learned to carry life’s harshest burdens at a young age.

Penned by Eylem Canpolat and Bengü Üçüncü, the drama explores how these two damaged souls find solace in one another and heal their wounds without trying to change who they are.

This captivating production serves as a crossroads where East meets West and tradition collides with the modern world. The leading duo is backed by an impressive ensemble cast, including Sezin Akbaşoğulları, Fatih Al, Gökhan Soylu, and Can Atak. Standing out with its psychological depth, cinematic atmosphere, and emotional intensity, Alıkara promises viewers not just an intriguing mystery to solve, but an extraordinary love story that touches the human heart.
