Peter Pan’s fairy, Tinker Bell, will have her own series for the first time.
Disney+’s series, planned under the name Tink, has Liz Heldens (Will Trent) and Bridget Carpenter (11.22.63) at the helm as writers. The duo previously worked together on Friday Night Lights.
There have been previous talks about a live-action adaptation of Tinker Bell. At one point, Reese Witherspoon was expected to portray the character in a film. However, no project ever materialized.
While the project is considered a priority for Disney, details such as the storyline, release date, and cast for Tink are not yet confirmed. One thing is certain: Disney fans can expect a big adventure.
