Global Agency is bringing its new music competition format The Mashup to the European market with an official launch at MIP London.

Following strong industry buzz and positive feedback from broadcasters and platform executives in the United States, the format will hold its European premiere at the Turing Theatre, IET London, on February 23 from 10:30. The move marks the next step in the global rollout of the high-energy music competition format.

The Mashup is a high-energy music competition where duos merge two contrasting songs into one unforgettable live performance. Each week, contestants spin a genre wheel, from Pop to Country, challenging their creativity and versatility. The show’s striking stage design and live voting Mashup Meter build suspense and visual excitement throughout every performance. In the Grand Finale, finalists perform solo alongside celebrity partners, but only one artist will take home the ultimate prize.

Creator of the Show and CEO of Global Agency, Izzet Pinto said: “We are very excited to bring The Mashup to MIP London as its European Premiere. After the strong initial response in the US, we believe the format is perfectly positioned to resonate with European broadcasters and platforms. The Mashup delivers fresh energy to the music competition space and today, the industry is looking for originality more than ever.”
