Global distributor Eccho Rights has officially finalized a series of major distribution deals for the hit Turkish daily drama Behind the Veil (produced by Film Yapim Merkezi for Kanal 7) across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

The record-breaking series, which has consistently outperformed major weekly titles on Turkish television, has been licensed to broadcasters in Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Moldova, and Georgia.

Currently in its third successful season, Behind the Veil explores the high-stakes emotional battles within a marriage of convenience. The series has become a standout performer in the daily segment, shattering viewing records for Kanal 7 and establishing itself as a top-tier export for international markets looking for powerful, contemporary Turkish storytelling.

Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Executive for CEE and Africa at Eccho Rights: “Behind the Veil is a fantastic example of what makes Turkish daily drama so compelling – it combines deeply emotional storytelling with the kind of relentless narrative pace that keeps viewers coming back day after day. What makes this series particularly special is that it has achieved remarkable ratings against far bigger budgeted productions, which speaks to the exceptional quality of the writing and performances.”

This latest deal highlights the continued strength of Turkish daily dramas across Central and Eastern Europe, where serialized storytelling and large episode counts provide broadcasters with dependable long term programming that keeps audiences engaged throughout the year.
