Turkish drama Black Sea, My Love is set to end after just four episodes, according to reports in the Turkish press. Produced by Mia Production and filmed in Trabzon, the series stars Meltem Akçöl and Erdem Adilce as two young people whose relationship unfolds against the backdrop of a longstanding feud between rival families.

The early finale decision comes shortly after the series premiered on Turkish broadcaster NOW on 12 October 2026. With only its first two episodes having aired at the time the news emerged, the drama is among the latest Turkish productions to face an unexpectedly short run during the new television season.

A Love Story Caught Between Two Rival Families

Set in Türkiye’s Black Sea region, Black Sea, My Love centres on the longstanding hostility between the Alazlı and Yeniceli families. Generations of conflict have shaped the lives of both families, turning personal relationships into a battleground for loyalty, revenge and unresolved grievances.

At the heart of the story are Kuzey, played by Erdem Adilce, and Zeyşan, portrayed by Meltem Akçöl. When Zeyşan returns to the Black Sea region to protect her sister from a forced marriage, she takes her place in the arrangement and finds herself facing Kuzey at the wedding.

Their unexpected marriage sets the stage for a romance that develops amid family rivalries, buried secrets and a history of animosity neither can easily escape. The series combines romantic drama with the emotional conflicts and family dynamics that have long been central to Turkish television storytelling.

Meltem Akçöl and Erdem Adilce Lead the Cast

Alongside Akçöl and Adilce, the cast includes established Turkish actors Ayşegül Günay, Deniz Hamzaoğlu, Şerif Erol and Sema Keçik.

The production also draws on Trabzon’s distinctive landscapes and regional atmosphere, with filming taking place in the city and its surrounding areas. The Black Sea setting forms an integral part of the drama’s visual identity and its portrayal of close-knit communities shaped by family history and tradition.

Produced by Mia Production, Black Sea, My Love entered the new season with a story built around forbidden love, family loyalty and the consequences of longstanding feuds.

Black Sea, My Love‘s Early Finale Decision Follows a Short Broadcast Run

Reports published on 20 October said the series would conclude with its fourth episode, following the broadcast of its second instalment the previous evening. The decision was reportedly linked to the show’s ratings performance, although no official statement explaining the reasons for the finale had been issued by the broadcaster or production company at the time of reporting.

If the existing Monday broadcast schedule remains unchanged, the fourth episode is expected to air on 2 November 2026. The date has not been officially confirmed.

The news adds Black Sea, My Love to a growing list of Turkish dramas facing early finales this season, highlighting the competitive environment in which new series must establish an audience soon after their premieres.
