Banijay Entertainment has outlined a new leadership structure as it continues integrating its business following the merger, with CEO Marco Bassetti appointing seven executives to oversee key corporate and content functions. The new team will be responsible for shaping global strategy and coordinating the group’s operations during the next stage of organizational integration.
Seven Executives Take on Key Leadership Roles
The appointments span business affairs, finance, legal, communications, human resources and content. Fred Balmary becomes Chief Business Officer, while Nicolas Chazarain takes on the role of Chief Legal Officer and Thomas Gousset is named Chief Finance Officer.
In the content division, Lucas Green will serve as Chief Content Officer, Operations, and James Townley as Chief Content Officer, Development. Kate Humphreys has been appointed Chief Communications Officer, while Anne Van Sprang becomes Chief Human Resources Officer.
Bassetti introduced the appointments in an internal announcement, acknowledging the executives’ contributions to the merger and the work undertaken so far to bring the businesses together. The newly appointed leaders will report directly to the CEO.
Banijay Entertainment’s Executive Team to Coordinate Group Operations
The broader executive team will also include Deputy CEO Jane Turton and Cathy Payne, CEO of Banijay Rights, alongside Balmary, Chazarain, Gousset and Van Sprang. The structure is intended to strengthen coordination across the group’s business units, operational activities and international distribution operations.
The company plans to introduce the leadership team across the organization as the integration progresses. The appointments mark another step in Banijay Entertainment’s efforts to establish its post-merger operating structure and align leadership responsibilities across the business.
