Inter Medya has acquired worldwide distribution rights for Mia Yapım’s new drama Black Sea, My Love (Sevdam Karadeniz), which will premiere on NOW in Turkey and make its international debut at MIPCOM 2026.
Inter Medya has added Black Sea, My Love to its international distribution slate, taking worldwide rights to the new drama produced by Mia Yapım, the company behind the internationally successful Hercai. The series is currently filming in Trabzon and will be presented to global buyers for the first time at MIPCOM 2026, taking place in Cannes from October 12-15.
Set against the landscapes and traditions of Turkey’s Black Sea region, the series centers on a long-running feud between two local families. The conflict is reignited by the unfulfilled love story of the older generation, Hafize Alazlı (Ayşegül Günay) and Durali Yeniceli (Şerif Erol), whose unresolved past continues to shape the lives of their families.
A Forced Marriage at the Heart of Black Sea, My Love
Years later, the rivalry pulls their grandchildren Kuzey (Erdem Adilce) and Zeyşan (Meltem Akçöl) into a forced marriage. As the young couple confronts family pressure, buried secrets and old grievances, their relationship becomes intertwined with the future of both families.
Written by Özge Korkmaz and Yeşim Gülay and directed by Aytaç Çiçek, Black Sea, My Love also stars Deniz Hamzaoğlu alongside its leading cast.
The series is scheduled to premiere on NOW in Turkey on Monday, October 12, coinciding with its international launch ahead of MIPCOM. Inter Medya will introduce the drama to international buyers and industry professionals at the Cannes market.
