Beta Group has received nine nominations for the 2026 German TV Awards, with productions from across the group recognized in both fiction and entertainment categories. The nominations include titles represented by Beta Film, Zeitsprung Pictures, Sommerhaus Filmproduktion and Seapoint Productions.
The German Television Awards, often considered the country’s equivalent of the Emmys, will announce its winners at a ceremony in Cologne on September 9.
Which Beta Group Productions Are Nominated?
Beta Film’s limited series Shadow Leaks leads the fiction nominations, earning recognition in two categories: Best Drama Series and Best Actress for Samirah Breuer. The six-part series is produced by Dreamtool Entertainment for ARD, Degeto, hr and funk.
Shadow Leaks is joined in the fiction categories by Mozart Mozart, which has been nominated for Best Music. The six-part series is produced by Story House Pictures with ARD, WDR, SWR, ARD Degeto Film, ORF and Dreaming Sheep Company. Beta Film and Bavaria Media are handling its international sales.
Another acting nomination goes to Derya Akyol for her performance in Euphorie, produced by Zeitsprung Pictures for RTL+.
Sommerhaus Filmproduktion’s Tatort: Dunkelheit has also picked up two nominations, with the ARD TV movie competing for Best TV Movie and Edin Hasanović receiving a Best Actor nomination.
How Many Entertainment Nominations Did Beta Group Receive?
Beta Group’s Seapoint Productions secured three nominations in the entertainment categories.
Princess Charming is nominated for Best Entertainment Reality, while Let’s Dance received two nominations: Best Presentation/Individual Performance Entertainment and Best Production Design Entertainment.
With these recognitions across drama, acting, music, reality and entertainment, Beta Group’s nine nominations span several of the German TV Awards’ major categories.
