ATV Distribution has announced that its new series Safir has been licensed to Romania. Safir was picked up by Antena TV shortly after it was presented to international broadcasters and platforms at MIPCOM in October.
According to atv’s statement, as a result of its strong storyline, Safir has continued to grow in ratings as well as building a large fan community in the local market.
STRONG STORYLINE
Safir ‘A Hidden Love Story’ tells the story of the Gulsoy family getting lost in dangerous paths full of passion, ambition, revenge and bullying tests that change overnight. İlhan Şen, Özge Yağız, Burak Berkay Akgül share the lead roles of Safir.
One of the most prominent families in Cappadocia, the Gulsoy Family, is the focus of Safir. The Gulsoy family finally comes together after a long period apart upon the arrival of the eldest son, Ates, from America. Feraye and Yaman have been each other’s first love since childhood, hiding it from everyone.
On the night of Feraye’s birthday, Yaman’s brother Okan is involved in a crime by accident and everyone’s lives get upside down. Yaman will be compelled to marry Aleyna in order to keep his brother safe. Ates will marry Feraye to reunite his family and protect Feraye’s child.
