Continuing its international growth, Farah, the acclaimed Turkish drama distributed by Calinos Entertainment, has secured a new licensing agreement in Latin America.

The series will now be broadcast in Paraguay, marking another step in its expanding global footprint and strengthening the presence of Turkish dramas in the region.

Produced by O3 Medya and originally broadcast on NOW in Türkiye, Farah is distributed worldwide by Calinos Entertainment and has been sold to 84 countries, including Spain, Italy and Panama, as well as across MENA, Africa and the Balkans. The new agreement further expands the series’ presence in Latin America, where Turkish dramas continue to attract strong audience interest.

Cristina Duffy, Sales Executive (LATAM) at Calinos Entertainment, commented on the agreement, saying: “We are proud to see Farah continuing to expand into new territories, particularly among Latin American audiences who strongly appreciate the distinguished careers of the series’ exceptional cast.”

About Farah:

Adapted from the award-winning Argentinian series La Chica que Limpia (The Cleaning Lady), Farah stars Demet Özdemir and Engin Akyürek and tells the story of an Iranian woman who escapes her country and struggles to survive in Istanbul, working as a cleaning lady to save her son who suffers from a rare, life-threatening disease.

One night, she witnesses a murder and is forced to clean the scene to survive. As Farah finds herself in a complicated situation, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Tahir. Despite the circumstances that bring them together, a deep emotional bond begins to grow between them, turning their lives into an unexpected love story.
